Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Gradazione Doppia Grigio Su Nero by Marina Apollonio. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,043.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Marina Apollonio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dinamica Circolare 6 S+S in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 85,000.00 (€ 118,893.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gradazione Doppia Grigio Su Nero von Marina Apollonio zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.043,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marina Apollonio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dinamica Circolare 6 S+S im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 85.000,00 (€ 118.893,77).
