This artwork by Marina Apollonio achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2014. In the The Italian Sale auction, the work Dinamica circolare s4 (Circular dynamic s4) sold for GBP 92,500.00 (€ 118,109.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Marina Apollonio; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dinamica Circolare 6 S+S sold at auction in October 2015 with the realized price of GBP 85,000.00 (€ 118,893.77).
