The work Portrait With Scorpio by Marina Abramović was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2020. The result of EUR 10,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marina Abramović achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Life in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Portrait With Scorpio von Marina Abramović wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marina Abramović erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Life im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23).
