Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2007 Christies in Madrid held the auction The Spanish Sale, The Westin Palace Hotel, Madrid, which included the work L'Ivrogne by María Blanchard. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 192,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by María Blanchard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Joueur De Luth, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 457,250.00 (€ 566,184.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion The Spanish Sale, The Westin Palace Hotel, Madrid durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Ivrogne von María Blanchard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 192.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von María Blanchard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Joueur De Luth beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für GBP 457.250,00 (€ 566.184,36) versteigert wurde.
