Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jalan Tamblong by Mariam Sofrina was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,165.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 26,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mariam Sofrina have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jalan Merdeka in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,228.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jalan Tamblong von Mariam Sofrina wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.165,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 26.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mariam Sofrina auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jalan Merdeka im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.228,64).
