Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mariam Sofrina achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work without title sold for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,390.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mariam Sofrina; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Jalan Merdeka sold at auction in April 2019 with the realized price of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,228.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mariam Sofrina erzielte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.390,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mariam Sofrina; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Jalan Merdeka im April 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.228,64).
