Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work August by Mariam Sofrina was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,333.83). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mariam Sofrina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jalan Merdeka, which sold at auction in April 2019 for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,228.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit August von Mariam Sofrina kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 55.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.333,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mariam Sofrina mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jalan Merdeka beobachtet, die im April 2019 für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.228,64) versteigert wurde.
