Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work May Flowers by María Berrío was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London auction at Christies in London in July last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 56,700.00 (€ 67,709.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by María Berrío achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not in November last year with an auction result of USD 1,603,000.00 (€ 1,552,843.17).
