Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning Mist by Marguerite Thompson Zorach was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November 2020. The price achieved of USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,070.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marguerite Thompson Zorach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Zorach Family in a Landscape and Floral Still Life: A Double-Sided Painting in May last year with an auction result of USD 214,200.00 (€ 199,608.61).
