Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in New York held the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art, which included the work Still life of Dog-roses by Margaretha Roosenboom. The price achieved of GBP 6,400.00 (€ 6,400.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Margaretha Roosenboom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A still life with roses in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 188,000.00 (€ 86,288.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life of Dog-roses von Margaretha Roosenboom zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.400,00 (€ 6.400,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Margaretha Roosenboom erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A still life with roses im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 188.000,00 (€ 86.288,48).
