Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work An earthenware vase with white azaleas and various other flowers by Margaretha Roosenboom. The price achieved of EUR 13,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Admittedly, works by Margaretha Roosenboom have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with roses in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 188,000.00 (€ 86,288.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An earthenware vase with white azaleas and various other flowers von Margaretha Roosenboom zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Margaretha Roosenboom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with roses im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 188.000,00 (€ 86.288,48).
