Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism, which included the work Roses, lilacs and white blossom branches by Margaretha Roosenboom. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 17,500.00 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Margaretha Roosenboom have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with roses in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 188,000.00 (€ 86,288.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roses, lilacs and white blossom branches von Margaretha Roosenboom zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 17.500,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Margaretha Roosenboom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with roses im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 188.000,00 (€ 86.288,48).
