Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 18.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Margaretha Roosenboom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with roses im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 188.000,00 (€ 86.288,48).
