It achieved a price of AUD 123,000.00 (€ 73,398.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Margaret Olley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hawkesbury Wildflowers and Pears I, 1973 sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of AUD 159,900.00 (€ 141,667.40).
