Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of AUD 47,800.00 (€ 28,985.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Margaret Olley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hawkesbury Wildflowers and Pears I, 1973 in November 2021 with an auction result of AUD 159,900.00 (€ 141,667.40).
