Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work ”Skeppsbrott i Bohusländska skärgården” by Marcus Larsson was auctioned at Bukowski in December this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 125,000.00 – 150,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 8,994.76). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcus Larsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset by the coast, which sold at auction in December 2015 for SEK 270,000.00 (€ 29,414.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit ”Skeppsbrott i Bohusländska skärgården” von Marcus Larsson im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bukowski versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 125.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 8.994,76) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcus Larsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunset by the coast beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für SEK 270.000,00 (€ 29.414,31) versteigert wurde.
