Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Spring Sale, which included the work A burning steamboat on stormy sea by Marcus Larsson. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,737.69), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marcus Larsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset by the coast in December 2015 with an auction result of SEK 270,000.00 (€ 29,414.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Spring Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A burning steamboat on stormy sea von Marcus Larsson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.737,69) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcus Larsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunset by the coast im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 270.000,00 (€ 29.414,31).
