Despite a disappointment, a good price for Marcus Eek
When this work without title by Marcus Eek was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,935.26). Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Marcus Eek that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Marcus Eek
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Marcus Eek im November 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.935,26) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Marcus Eek, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
