Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marcus Eek could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "U Here" changed hands for SEK 38,000.00 (€ 3,736.82) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Marcus Eek have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2010 by the work without title at SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,935.26).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcus Eek konnte im April 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "U Here" für SEK 38.000,00 (€ 3.736,82) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Marcus Eek wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2010 die Arbeit ohne Titel mit SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.935,26).
