In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work The Walled Courtyard Of A Villa With Statues And Figures by Marco Ricci for USD 27,720.00 (€ 23,800.12). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Ambassador and Mrs. Felix Rohatyn at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marco Ricci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Opera Rehearsal in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 475,000.00 (€ 557,035.99).
