Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ten 'Vedute Di Fantasia' by Marco Ricci was sold in the Old Master Day Sale including Old Master Paintings, Drawings and British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,759.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marco Ricci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Opera Rehearsal in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 475,000.00 (€ 557,035.99).
