This artwork by Marcin Maciejowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2018. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Tadeusz Kantor sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,310.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcin Maciejowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Picasso'S Boy With Pipe, which sold at auction in June 2017 for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,646.17).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcin Maciejowski erzielte im März 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Tadeusz Kantor für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.310,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcin Maciejowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Picasso'S Boy With Pipe beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für GBP 87.500,00 (€ 99.646,17) versteigert wurde.
