Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcellus Laroon II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A bird snarer in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 39,995.59).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.567,61) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcellus Laroon II erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A bird snarer im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 39.995,59).
