Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eden Primavera by Marcello Lo Giudice was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2020. The price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 43,984.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcello Lo Giudice - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Orange - Yellow Sun, which sold at auction in June 2019 for EUR 150,000.00.

Die Arbeit Eden Primavera von Marcello Lo Giudice kam im August 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 43.984,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcello Lo Giudice mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Orange - Yellow Sun beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für EUR 150.000,00 versteigert wurde.
