This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Marcel Vertès have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paravent Représentant Des Personnages De La Comedia Dell'Arte in January 2014 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
