Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deux danseuses by Marcel Vertès was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in New York in December last year. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,575.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcel Vertès have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paravent Représentant Des Personnages De La Comedia Dell'Arte in January 2014 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Deux danseuses von Marcel Vertès wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.575,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcel Vertès auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paravent Représentant Des Personnages De La Comedia Dell'Arte im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
