Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,275.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcel Janco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Romanian inferno in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 92,230.84).
