This artwork by Marcel François Leprin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June 2010. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction, the work Le canal Saint-Martin sold for EUR 6,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Marcel François Leprin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Eglise St-Pierre à Montmartre sold at auction in April 2005 with the realized price of EUR 10,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcel François Leprin erzielte im Juni 2010 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne wurde die Arbeit Le canal Saint-Martin für EUR 6.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Marcel François Leprin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Eglise St-Pierre à Montmartre im April 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 10.200,00.
