Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Rue De Banlieue by Marcel François Leprin. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,337.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcel François Leprin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eglise St-Pierre à Montmartre, which sold at auction in April 2005 for EUR 10,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rue De Banlieue von Marcel François Leprin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.337,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcel François Leprin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eglise St-Pierre à Montmartre beobachtet, die im April 2005 für EUR 10.200,00 versteigert wurde.
