The work Papegaaitulpen (Parrot Tulips) by Marc Mulders was sold in the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,560.00 51% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marc Mulders have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 34,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Papegaaitulpen (Parrot Tulips) von Marc Mulders wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.560,00 und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Mulders auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.350,00.
