Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Marc Mulders achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April this year. In the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction, the work Irissen sold for EUR 16,380.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc Mulders - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii, which sold at auction in March 2010 for EUR 34,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marc Mulders erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam wurde die Arbeit Irissen für EUR 16.380,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marc Mulders mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii beobachtet, die im März 2010 für EUR 34.350,00 versteigert wurde.
