Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,242.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Aldine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Venetian canal in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 39,950.00 (€ 65,307.73).
