Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishing port on the Venetian lagoon by Marc Aldine was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,986.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Aldine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Venetian canal in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 39,950.00 (€ 65,307.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fishing port on the Venetian lagoon von Marc Aldine kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.986,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Aldine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Venetian canal im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 39.950,00 (€ 65.307,73).
