Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art Online, which included the work A gondola on a Venetian canal by Marc Aldine. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,520.00 (€ 3,520.00), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Aldine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Venetian canal in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 39,950.00 (€ 65,307.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit A gondola on a Venetian canal von Marc Aldine zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.520,00 (€ 3.520,00) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Aldine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Venetian canal im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 39.950,00 (€ 65.307,73).
