Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre, 1974 by Manuel Cargaleiro. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,080.00 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Manuel Cargaleiro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Medina, 1980 in March 2009 with an auction result of EUR 40,193.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1974 von Manuel Cargaleiro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.080,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Cargaleiro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Medina, 1980 im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.193,00.
