Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Artcurial held the auction Prints & Illustrated Books, which included the work Sans Titre by Manuel Cargaleiro. The price achieved of EUR 455.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Cargaleiro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Medina, 1980 in March 2009 with an auction result of EUR 40,193.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Prints & Illustrated Books durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Manuel Cargaleiro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 455,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Cargaleiro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Medina, 1980 im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.193,00.
