Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre, 1954 by Manuel Cargaleiro was auctioned at Artcurial in July 2012. It changed hands for a price of EUR 193.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 150.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Cargaleiro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Medina, 1980 in March 2009 with an auction result of EUR 40,193.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1954 von Manuel Cargaleiro kam im Juli 2012 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 193,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Cargaleiro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Medina, 1980 im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.193,00.
