The work Instrumental by Manuel Álvarez Bravo was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April last year. It achieved a price of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,772.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Álvarez Bravo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De L'Éternel, Mexico 1935 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 228,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Instrumental von Manuel Álvarez Bravo kam im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.772,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Álvarez Bravo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De L'Éternel, Mexico 1935 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 228.750,00.
