Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Manolo Millares was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,800.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manolo Millares achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Composition) Painting no. 4 in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 842,500.00 (€ 1,011,274.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Manolo Millares kam im September 2020 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.800,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manolo Millares erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Composition) Painting no. 4 im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 842.500,00 (€ 1.011.274,93).
