The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,775.60), 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Manfred Pernice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kaskel Treff in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 32,500.00.

Die Arbeit Untitled (Object) von Manfred Pernice wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.775,60) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manfred Pernice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kaskel Treff im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.500,00.
