The work Untitled (Object) by Manfred Pernice was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in September 2011. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,775.60), 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Manfred Pernice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kaskel Treff in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 32,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Object) von Manfred Pernice wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.775,60) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manfred Pernice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kaskel Treff im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.500,00.
