Sold at the lower estimate price
In May 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Manabu Mabe. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,248.54) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manabu Mabe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manabu Mabe zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 19.248,54) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85) versteigert wurde.
