The work Untitled (No. AB114) by Manabu Mabe was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2013. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,398.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manabu Mabe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Untitled (No. AB114) von Manabu Mabe wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.398,83) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85).
