Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pas De Deux (Pavlova And Novikoff) by Malvina Hoffman was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2018. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,721.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Malvina Hoffman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'La Frileuse' in December 2002 with an auction result of USD 53,775.00 (€ 51,287.55).

Die Arbeit Pas De Deux (Pavlova And Novikoff) von Malvina Hoffman wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.721,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
