Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work The Welcoming of Joy by Mai Luowu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 131,250.00 (€ 13,672.76). Other works by Mai Luowu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,525.62) in November 2010 for the work Ensemble.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Welcoming of Joy von Mai Luowu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 131.250,00 (€ 13.672,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Mai Luowu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.525,62) im November 2010 für die Arbeit Ensemble beobachtet.
