A top price for Mai Luowu
In November 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Ensemble by Mai Luowu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,525.62), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Ensemble the most expensive artwork by Mai Luowu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ensemble von Mai Luowu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.525,62) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Ensemble zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Mai Luowu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
