The work Autumn Lotus by Mai Luowu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,766.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mai Luowu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ensemble sold at auction in November 2010 with the realized price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,525.62).

Die Arbeit Autumn Lotus von Mai Luowu kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.766,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mai Luowu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ensemble im November 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.525,62).
