The work Lotus by Mai Luowu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,348.04), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Mai Luowu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Ensemble was auctioned for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,525.62).

Die Arbeit Lotus von Mai Luowu kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.348,04) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Mai Luowu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2010 die Arbeit Ensemble für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.525,62) versteigert.
