Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude by Mahmoud Saïd was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art auction at Bonhams in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,499.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mahmoud Saïd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Whirling Dervishes in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 2,546,500.00 (€ 1,832,805.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude von Mahmoud Saïd wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert.
