The work L'Ane (etude) by Mahmoud Saïd was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,691.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 62%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mahmoud Saïd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Whirling Dervishes in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 2,546,500.00 (€ 1,832,805.53).

Die Arbeit L'Ane (etude) von Mahmoud Saïd kam im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.691,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mahmoud Saïd erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Whirling Dervishes im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.546.500,00 (€ 1.832.805,53).
