In April 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Made In Britain, which included the work Mixed-Colour Symmetrical Flat-Topped With Lugs by Magdalene Odundo. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 31,250.00 (€ 38,038.48), 74% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Magdalene Odundo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 440,468.26).

Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made In Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mixed-Colour Symmetrical Flat-Topped With Lugs von Magdalene Odundo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 38.038,48) und damit 74% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Magdalene Odundo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 378.000,00 (€ 440.468,26).
